SSC CGL 2025 Re-Exam Date Out: SSC has released a new notification on the official website after completing SSC CGL examination between 12th September to 26th September 2025. Notification have informed multiple details regarding the SSC CGL exam and upcoming openings in SSC. According to the notification, the authority is scheduling re-exam of SSC CGL on 14th October 2025 to the affected candidates. SSC CGL 2025 Re-Exam Date
SSC has earlier mentioned that they will not entertain candidates to reschedule the entire CGL examination again but on 26 September 2025, the department released a notification to inform a new date of re examination on 14th October. The examination will be scheduled for affected individuals who did not sit in the exam centre in Mumbai due to the fire accident on 26 September.
The new exam date is scheduled at 14th October 2025. It will allow all the affected individuals in Mumbai Centre along with other individuals who face difficulty during verification procedure, certificate verification, Technical errors in computer and laptop etc. Apart from affected candidates of Mumbai centre, the authority will check and verify all the reasons of other candidates who want to sit in the examination on 14th October 2025.
Who can appear in the SSC CGL 2025 Re-Exam
Candidates can understand the eligibility to appear in the re-examination of SSC CGL 2025 which is scheduling on 14th October 2025:
- All the candidates who were allotted the Mumbai exam centre on 26th September where the Fire Accident happens, will allow to appear in the re examination. All the candidate from that shift will be invited to sit in the re exam.
- Candidates who were stopped by the institute during certificate verification procedure under suspected malpractice Will allowed to sit in the re examination if only the condition is the prove that they are not guilty and their documents are correct then they will be allowed to sit in the exam hall again.
- Apart from other candidates, SSC will not entertain other candidates for the re-examination.
SSC CGL Answer key 2025
Due to the rescheduling of the examination of SSC CGL, candidates who have completed the examination will have to face a delay to check their marks as the authority has scheduled to Declare the answer key 15th October 2025 where they will release the answer key to all the exam between 12th September to 26 September and will also release the answer key of the examination schedule on 14th October. So once the re examination complete, Candidate will able to download the answer key and after that the portal to find the objection in answer key will also active.
SSC CGL 2025 Re-Exam Notification Out
Apart from the re examination information of SSC CGL Tier 1, the authority has also mentioned other details in this notification including total number of applicants appeared in the exam, New technology used in the examination method, feedbacks from candidates, Strict action against Malpractice in the examination especially in fake PWD documents. Total 28 lakh candidates have applied in the SSC CGL examination but 13.5 lakh candidates appeared in the examination only. It is a bad drop It is a big difference between the application and attendance in the exam centre.
The authority has also acknowledged issues in technical equipments where they get total 18920 feedback from candidates in the CGL examination where the reported multiple issues including not working the desktop properly, issue in Mouse and other problem. However the authority acknowledged these issues but did not confirm to conduct re exam to the effective people from technical difficulties. Apart from this internet application has also informed that they conduct exams on laptops too to allow candidates to get their exam centre in their preferred cities. The department allowed 93% candidates to get there exam centre in the preferred cities by using the laptop initiative.

So the notification has mentioned issued raised by Candidates in this examination and also informed the SST CGL Mumbai Centre fire incident on 26 September where the authority offered all the affected candidates from that shift to reappear in the re-exam which is scheduled on 14th October 2025.
